Payment Options

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, credit card, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and gift cards.

Our Cash‑Based Model

Empower Balance Therapy & Wellness is an out‑of‑network, cash‑based practice. This model lets us prioritize one‑on‑one care and clinical decisions that serve your goals rather than insurer rules.

Insurance and Superbills

For physical therapy, we will provide a detailed superbill on request so you can submit it to your insurer for potential reimbursement. We cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company; reimbursement decisions and amounts are determined by your insurer.

Specialty Exercise Programs

Programs such as Anti‑Freeze Bootcamp, Jumpstart, and Neuro Performance are cash‑pay and are not covered by insurance. Empower often receives grants that allow us to offer partial participation scholarships; we’ll share scholarship availability when you sign up.

Medicare Beneficiaries

If you have Medicare, you may participate in services Medicare does not cover (for example, Anti‑Freeze Bootcamp, Jumpstart, and Neuro Performance). We cannot provide Medicare‑covered physical therapy services, even if you prefer to pay cash. (It’s not a rule we like, but we have to follow it.) If you require physical therapy and have Medicare, we’re happy to provide a list of trusted Medicare providers upon request.
